Abstract

Karina, NIM 1313-1111-478, Bank Level Analysis Based on RGEC Method (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, Capital) Study Case: PT. Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk and PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk, Period 2012-2016. 129 page, 42 table, Jakarta 2017. This study discusses about the bank level is based on the method RGEC Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, Capital. The objective of this research is to find out: (1) The health level of bank in term of Risk Profile aspect, (2) The health level of bank in term of Good Corporate Governance aspect, (3) The health level of bank in term of Earning aspect, (4) The health level of bank in term of Capital aspect, and (5) The health level of bank in term of Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings and Capital aspects on Bank Negara Indonesia and Bank Central Asia in 2012-2016.
This research was conducted at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk and PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk. The study was conducted from March to July 2017. The data were collected through the literature, text books or reading related to the title of the study. The study used secondary data, where data were taken from Indonesia Stock Exchange and each bank website. After the data collected, the initial research is to analyze each ratio of RGEC components (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, Capital). Furthermore, the analyzed data is processed again by using software SPSS version 23. The results of research show that The Health Level Bank BNI in 2012 and 2013 amounted to 97.14 and in 2014, 2015 and 2016 amounted to 94.29 to get a composite rating of “One” with a description of “Very Healthy”. While Bank BCA during the year 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 obtained the value of 97.14 and 88.57 in 2016 get a composite rating of “One” with the predicate “Very Healthy”. Then from the results of the SPSS test obtained the test results of normality of Bank BNI 0.158 > 0.005 and Bank BCA both produce the number 0.148 > 0.005 which means the data is normally distributed. Then heterokedastisitas test using Glejser test resulted significant value > 0.005 both BNI Bank and BCA bank showing no symptoms of heterokedastisitas. Furthermore, hypothesis test using BNI determination coefficient obtained 87.6% and BCA bank obtained 86.5%. The F test states that both banks get a significance value of 0.000 > 0.005 which means the seven independent variables affect the dependent variable. And the last T test show that the variable X does not partially affect the variable Y because a significance value > 0.005.
